Satisfaction Index

Citizen satisfaction with federal government websites dipped slightly this quarter to an aggregate score of 73.3 as the trend of relatively flat satisfaction continued for the ninth straight quarter.           

Key findings include:

  • 21% of sites fall into the top performers category, led by two Social Security Administration website
  • Sites with strong citizen satisfaction have several things in common, including commitment to meeting the public’s needs and management support
  • The career/recruitment category has the highest category score and the strongest increase from last quarter
